The property with a size of nearly 10,000 m2 is located between Eden Valley Mills on the River Denys idyllic spot and has an own boat dock. From there, down river you reach the Bras d'Or Lake, a mixed-water lake with two inlets into the Atlantic. Upriver you can watch eagles, beavers and other wildlife just from canoe.
Ground floor and first floor of the house shown below are connected with a step inside., but each with separate entrance from outside as well. On the upper floor is a terrace of 3/4 of the house with a beautiful view over the broad river and the adjacent valley. At the end of the day you can see eagles passing every evening and a beaver family round her head is floating on the shore.
In the summer lots of hummingbirds are flying around.
Orangedale is quickly reached in 10 min. At Bruce, a real grocery store, there is „everything“ available. Gasoline, food, tires, furniture, tools, all reasonably priced and good tips for free.
The town of Whycocomagh with all infrastructural facilities is just 20 minutes by car, where at "Farmer Daughter" is the best ice cream in town.
However, Port Hawkesbury (Canadas second largest port in Vancouver) is quickly reached in 40 minutes. There are big super stores and just about everything your heart desires.
The nearest airport is in Halifax, about 300 km (3 hours) and can be reached via a well-developed highway. From here there are 6-7 hours flights to Europe.
