I'd rather it be right than it be rushed. We have renovated our dream ocean house over a year. The focus is the views, sun, and water sports.
The house layout highlights the views and sun from morning til dusk. The kitchen allows for creativity to cook wonderful meals. Two patios allow guests to relax enjoying the views, the sun or shadow, while exploring your culinary BBQ expertise
At the end of a hiking, biking or swimming day, you can relax at the fire bowl or in the full size soaker tub and then retire to the sound of the waves against the beach.
The three bedroom house has three bedrooms upstairs (a king and two queen size beds) with shared bathroom. Downstairs on the main floor is a room with a daybed and desktop next to the open concept living room and a comfortable brand new bathroom. An office on first floor and super fast internet allows working from home if required.

For those interested in taking in some near-magical scenery, picturesque trails is a leisurely 10 minute drive to several light houses with nature trails The beach is also a great place for a jog, meditation, beach volleyball, evening walks and, of course, photography -- especially in the evening when the western sun illuminates the deep blue sea.
Our location makes for an excellent basecamp for enjoying Cape Breton in comfort and style. Furthermore we have other properties on Lake Ainslie and Inverness where we are a scenic short drive from the world-class Cabot Cliffs Golf course and whale watching in Inverness and an hour drive from the starting point of the world-famous Cabot Trail. And fishing expeditions are all easy day trips from all properties.
Closer by, we are an easy 5-minute drive from Arichats vibrant shops, restaurants, tuna fishing charters and 10-minute drive from sandy swimming beaches of Pondvile Beach Provincial Park.
Isle Madame is well-known for its world class seafood, its summer/fall music hotspots and its warm hospitality.
Meanwhile, we are about 10 minutes from picturesque Petit de Grat which has restaurants with local fiddle music, groceries and miles of sensational hiking trails (up to Cape Auguet which features breathtaking views of Cape Breton's rugged coastline, cliffs and beaches below).
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Our vacation home is new renovated and opened for guests in 2022. Photos on this site will be updated as we continue to make improvements to the exterior features of the property.
2. Use of the beach zone requires guests to assume responsibility for their own safety and sign a liability waiver for kayaking if available.
3. Villa Sharing - We are pleased to host families of up to six people or parties of two couples who wish to share a villa. The sharing of the beach house by 3 couples, however, is not permitted. Some exceptions apply, but these require approval by the owner on a case-by-case basis.

All beds have ultra-comfortable memory foam mattresses and premium linens.
Outside, from the giant wooden sundeck, you can take in captivating ocean views and stunning Cape Breton sunsets while enjoying a glass of wine or a tasty meal. The sundeck has a comfortable outdoor dining table and chairs as well as a BBQ.
